Summer Street Advisors today announced that Mark Thompson has joined the firm as Director of Sales. In this role, Thompson will lead business development initiatives and client relationship efforts across the commercial real estate industry, drawing on more than 25 years of experience in real estate finance, capital markets, alternative investments, and institutional distribution.

Prior to joining Summer Street Advisors, Thompson served as Director of Debt & Equity at Calamar, where he originated and structured debt and equity solutions for development and investment projects nationwide. He previously led national accounts and capital formation efforts at Sequence Financial Specialists and held senior roles at Merrill Lynch, CME Group, and UBS Securities.

Throughout his career, Thompson has worked extensively with lenders, private equity firms, developers, family offices, RIAs, and institutional investors, building a broad network across the capital markets and commercial real estate landscape.

Thompson earned a BA in Business Administration and Management from Villanova University and holds FINRA Series 24, 7, 65, 63/66, and 55 registrations.
