Summer Street Advisors, LLC Founder Leads Discussion Regarding the Financing Challenges of New Development

Westport, CT (March 6, 2017) Jack Mullen, founder and managing director of Summer Street Advisors, led a discussion with members of the New England Chapter of the Congress for the New Urbanism, regarding the challenges developers face when trying to obtain financing for their adaptive reuse, new development and urban revitalization projects.

“It was a privilege be a part of the discussion with industry leaders seeking solutions to the common challenges faced in urban revitalization projects in New England,” Mullen said.

This event brought leaders together from various financial and real estate firms.  Mullen presented several transactions recently completed by Summer Street Advisors. These transactions provided attendees with the opportunity to address revitalization of underutilized buildings and new developments in recovering markets.

“Given his extensive experience in real estate finance, Jack understands what it takes to attract private capital to New Urbanist projects, and to revitalize New England towns,” Henry Owainati, co-founder and Chief Investment Officer of ConsulCapital LLC said. “He provided a necessary perspective for bringing New Urbanist ideas into fruition.”
