Our History

Summer Street Advisors, LLC (SSA) was founded in 2010 by Risk Management alumni of GE Capital Real Estate. The company’s initial focus was in providing strategic advisory services to commercial loan sellers and buyers while the market faced distressed conditions.

SSA’s disciplined underwriting approach helped clients survive and thrive through the downturn, and as the market recovered, SSA increased its service offerings in response to clients’ expanding needs. The asset management business was launched in 2012, and a full suite of managed services was in place by 2016.

Today, SSA provides a comprehensive range of integrated commercial real estate advisory and asset management services. In its first ten years of operation, Summer Street Advisors delivered value to 100-plus clients, resulting in more than $10 billion of invested capital.
